Man what a trip! There wasn’t a dull moment in the 8 hours on the water. I have been with several other guide services in Cabo searching for the best and we finally found it! Within five minutes of trolling we had our first double up, a nice mahi-mahi and Bonita. We then proceeded to catch at least 15 more mahi by 9:30 with multiple very nice fish. After that, we told the captain we would like to switch up to marlin fishing. We set out some larger lures and bridled baits and BAM wahoo on! Sadly he spit the hook. In no time at all we had a billfish hit the bait but he had also missed the hook. To end the trip we had the mahi of a lifetime on easily in the 5ft range. After an intense battle and several missed gaff shots the fish wore through the line… heartbreak throughout the boat. The boat was nice and had all the facilities and amenities you would want it to have. Capt Paulo is very knowledgeable, easy to talk to, and very passionate about what he does. Thanks for having us out everyone in our group had a awesome time!

We booked this on the fact that there were many reviews of satisfied anglers. There was a lengthy review that very accurately depicted the flow of the trip. Paulo does greet you and gives you a debrief but does accompany you on the trip. His son Jesus tho is more than an amazing 1st mate tho and has fishing in his blood. They know how to get on fish. We caught Bonitos, Jack, Yellowfin Tuna, a Blue Marlin, and a double header of Striped Marlin! Angling Heaven! On arrival vack at the dock, Paulo was kind enough to call and ask us about our experience and to please leave a review as he understands the importance of customer service. Wow what a great day. We brought my 4 year old grandson along for his first Cabo fishing experience. The crew was more than accommodating to him. He actually landed our first fish of the day with the help of Ramon and Josue (Crew) We caught a total of 10 Dorado and 1 Black Marlin on our 1/2 day trip. Paulo (Owner, Capt) is so experienced in his trade. All three of these guys are true experts in their field of fishing. We will be back next year for sure!!!!!! Thanks for the great experience guys. I read every review here before choosing Pacific Time. There were many positives and a handful of negatives. My honest review is as follows. Yes, there was some things that could have been better - I, like other customers, thought I was fishing with Paulo. But Paulo just met us, showed us where to buy our licenses, led us onto the dock, collected my trip balance, led us down to the boat, introduced us to his son Josue (the captain) and Ramon, the first mate and then he jumped off the boat. Did I know that was how it was going to go?…nope, I did not. Was there much small talk or communication once on the boat, not particularly. Did I have to ask for instructions for how to flush the boat toilet…yep. Was the diesel boat loud and stink of fumes - uh huh - it’s a diesel, what can you say?! But guess what, none of these things are what this trip is about - these gentlemen are here to put you on fish and that’s exactly what they did. They know what they are doing and they know where to fish. It was pretty quiet for the first hour and then BAM we had fish on 5 lines almost all at once. Then it became like an organized, hot-mess of multiple people reeling lines at once. Such a rush and so much fun. All in all, we hauled in 7 mahi-mahi and 1 marlin (which we released) in a 5 hour trip and these guys worked had to get us that marlin once they spotted it.  A couple things to know in advance - carry cash: 1) fishing licenses can be purchased at the dock the morning of your trip for $17 usd - we arrive 15 minutes early to get these. 2) There is a $1 dollar per person fee to actually walk onto the dock (I assume this is menial fee for dock maintenance etc). 3) We brought our own lunch, water and snacks, this was a great choice in my opinion. They will stop at the dock store if you ask, but the lines are long and it isn’t cheap. 4) They will whisk your catch away when you get back to the dock and you have to follow the man and with the wheelbarrow of fish to get your fish filleted. It cost $5 usd per mahi-mahi. 5) If you want your fish vacuum packed and frozen so you can take it home, Gracielda’s on the marina is the place to go. It was $1.75 a pound on the finished weight.  We think if we had made arrangements with them in advance, they could have picked up our fish, filleted and packed them - but we didn’t know about the “whisking away” of the fish when you arrive at the dock. So, the dock hands filleted them and then we walked to Gracielda’s for vacuum packing (however they could not freeze for us due to being overwhelmed with orders since the Bisbee’s fishing tournament just happened days prior). Ultimately, we think it would have been cheaper to go straight there. Lesson learned. 6) Remember it is customary to tip around 25%. My final thoughts - I would definitely book with this team again and recommend them to our friends and family. My family will be talking about this trip for years to come and the memories made were absolutely priceless!

Wife and I had a great time. Nice boat and crew was very good. They worked hard to put us on fish. We caught around 10 El Dorados. We missed out on a marlin but maybe next time. Don’t hesitate on joining this charter for your next outing.
