Captain Joe is the owner and operator of Game On, a 32’ Kevlacat powered by twin 300HP Suzuki engines, with a maximum passenger capacity of 10 anglers per trip. The boat comes outfitted with a variety of navigational electronics including GPS, radar, Fishfinder and 3 radios (27mhz, HF and VHF). On-board facilities include an enclosed toilet as well as a kitchen equipped with stove and a running water in the sink.

Captain Joe and his deckhand specialize in a variety of fishing techniques, including bottom fishing, light tackle and deep sea fishing, especially for the likes of Bluefin Tuna. The crew utilizes a variety of quality fishing gear, mainly Shimano and Okuma rods, reels and gimbals, along with a few Daiwa electric reels, capable of reaching depths of up to 700 meters. Of course, if you’ve got a favorite fishing rod, you’re welcome to bring your own gear along.

Game On Charters crew is committed to providing a memorable experience to anglers of all skill levels that want to test the Portland waterways. The fishing grounds are home to a wide range of seasonal game, including Albacore and Bluefin Tuna, Queen Snappers, Mako Sharks and many others. All fishing equipment is provided by Joe, along with both natural and artificial bait for the trip. Snacks, lunch as well as drinks are also included in the trip’s overall price.
