Chromeseekers and Captain Dan Stewart invite you to wonderful river trips in Detroit, Michigan. Captain Dan is a lifelong angler who welcomes everybody, from complete beginners to seasoned anglers. Join him and have a great time fishing while enjoying nature in Michigan.

Captain Dan uses a 24’ Hewescraft Ocean Pro fishing boat that’s powered by a 250 HP Suzuki engine. It’s got enough space for up to 6 guests and is equipped with GPS, a heater, fishfinder, and radio communication systems which help you get to the fish safely and fast. Also, the boat’s got a livewell.

You and Captain Dan will have an exciting time chasing the local beauty – Walleye. The captain is an expert in jigging and if you’re new to the world of fishing, he’ll teach you everything you need to know so you can start targeting fish yourself. And if you already have some experience, he’ll be happy to have you perfect your skills. You can keep all the fish you catch and take it home so you can have some meals. If you just want to catch it and release it back to the water, that’s fine as well.

The season: Detroit River – April 15 - May 12; St Clair River/Lake – May 16 - mis-June. Dates might see a small adjustment due to slips.

Five people max for jigging the Detroit River. Six max for the St Clair River and Lake as we will troll.

If you would rather troll, the crew can accommodate you.

All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price. The captain can also clean and fillet your catch at the end of the trip, although he would be grateful if you gave him a tip. Pack your licenses, favorite food, and drinks, and you’re all set for the journey. A Canadian license may be needed for the Detroit River.
