With Marla’s Sportfishing, you will get the opportunity to explore the beautiful waters of Bahia de Banderas and beyond. This legendary company is operated by the sons of Captain Jose Luis “Chicano” Osuna, one of the local fishing pioneers.
The Osuna brothers have worked hard to gain an excellent reputation. Their fishing machines are outfitted with the best gadgets and equipment available. In collaboration with top brands, the captains supply the finest tackle for everyone on board.
Captain Alonso will show you what the local fishing is all about aboard his ‘Marla II.’ Her twin 330 HP Cummins engines will power you to the hottest grounds both offshore and inshore. The Marla II features everything you may need while you’re spending your day on the water, from a private restroom to a bed and a kitchen.
Marla’s Sportfishing will take you to check the bite close to shore, targeting Roosterfish, Mahi Mahi, Jack Crevalle, and Sailfish. If you are game for something bigger, Capt. Alonso will take you fishing offshore for Marlin and Tuna.
You will be provided with everything you need for a productive fishing trip. All tackle, gear, bait, and lures will be available on board. A selection of snacks and drinks will also be available on the overnight trips. All you have to do is pack your food and show up!
