From inshore, nearshore, and offshore waters to rivers to reefs and wrecks, Grandslam Fishing Charters will provide you with a fishing trip to remember. Head out for New Smyrna Beach, Florida and fish the area’s productive grounds together with Captain Rick Kayholm, an experienced angler who knows how to make your trip successful.
You’ll start the trip on a 28’ Scout center console that runs on a twin 225 HP Yamaha engine, with room for up to 6 guests. For navigation, it uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology. The boat’s equipped with outriggers, a wireless trolling motor, and a livewell. A first mate will accompany you and give you a hand with everything you need.
The areas you’ll be fishing will provide you with plenty of species to catch. To name just some of them, you’ll be able to target King Mackerel, Mahi Mahi, Great Barracuda, Hammerhead Shark, and Redfish. There’s also a variety of techniques you’ll be using. Bottom and deep sea fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as drift fishing, you’ll have the chance to try them all out. You can keep or release all the fish you catch during the trip.
The captain will supply you with rods, reels, tackle, and bait, as well as fishing licenses and drinks. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch. There’s nothing you’ll need for your trip except for some food or snacks.
Come to New Smyrna Beach and book yourself a great fishing adventure.
