Blue Water Excursions is here to give you a unique fishing adventure you’ll never forget. Join this professional crew, whose goal is to provide you with the most enjoyable experience on the water. Captain Chad Banks is a licensed master 200-ton captain with years of experience and thousands of fishing trips offshore of Port Aransas under his belt. His local knowledge and dedication to service will ensure you have a wonderful day out in the big blue and will keep you coming back for more.

The boat you’ll be fishing from is a 36’  long and 12 ft wide Twin Vee catamaran that accommodates up to 6 guests. This catamaran is powered by twin 300 HP Yamaha engines and reaches the speed of 45 knots. There is a private toilet on the boat, as well as a live bait tank, a cooler, and modern navigational electronics.

Choose the trip between 6 and 12 hours long. It all depends on how much effort you want to put in and what species you’re after. Some of your targets will be Red Snapper, Tuna, Mahi Mahi, Wahoo, Amberjack, Kingfish, Marlin, Swordfish, and many more.

All fishing equipment is included in the price, so you only need to purchase your fishing license and pack some snacks and drinks for the day. The crew prides itself on offering a great experience at competitive prices.

    ONLY AVALABLE DURING SNAPPER SEASON This excursion is all about the snapper.You will make a 30 mile voyage out into the Gulf of Mexico out the snapper hole. Then start fishing, once you catch your limit of red snapper (limit 2 per person) you will head back to the dock. Trip duration is usually around 4 or 5 hrs. Possible species that can be caught on this trip include red snapper, mangrove snapper, lane snapper, kingfish, cobia, jack crevalle, barracuda multiple different species of shark, and more!

Trolling these areas during summer months can produce all the major pelagic species including but not limited to Mahi Mahi, Billfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and Kings.

    10-hour excursions allow ample time to fill the box – more time = more fish. A variety of reef fish can be caught such as Amberjack, Almaco Jack, also Vermilion, Grey, Lane, and Red Snapper, as well as many others. Trolling these areas during summer months can produce all the major pelagic species including but not limited to Dorado, billfish, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, and King.
