Blue Water Fishing Charter – 24', Cedar Key
This time, Blue Water Fishing Charter comes with an opportunity to explore the flats and backcountry of Cedar Key. Join Captain Rodney, who’s been fishing this area for over 30 years. He seeks for an adventure on the water every day and finds it more exciting when he shares it with other people. Whether you just want him to show you great fishing spots or you need him to teach you the basics of fishing, Capt. Rodney is your man.
You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Carolina skiff that accommodates up to 4 guests. The vessel has been newly restored in 2020, so you can rely on modern navigational electronics, a 115 HP Yamaha engine, and a wireless trolling motor. There’s also a cooler, a live bait tank, and safety gear. The boat has a T-top, so there’s some shade, but it’s best to bring your hat and sunglasses.
Your main targets on these fishing grounds will be Spotted Seatrout, Sheepshead, Tripletail, Cobia, and Redfish. You’ll mainly use fly fishing gear but there are other options too. Discuss everything with the captain before the trip if you have other preferences.
All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. You’ll need to pack your drinks and food for the day. You get to keep the catch and have it cleaned at the marina for a fee. As the trips are family-friendly, feel free to bring your kids.
Catching fish on a fly has its own challenges and offers a different kind of enjoyment. Master this technique with Blue Water Fishing Charter!
