Central Florida Sport Fishing
Central Florida Sport Fishing Charters offer memorable and rewarding outings on the water, ‘from the backwater creeks to where oceans meet’ - and sometimes beyond. U.S.C.G. 100 Ton Master Captain Christopher Beckett provides personalized trips to suit the needs of any angler to come aboard, from novice fishermen and women to the most seasoned of pros. Children are particularly welcomed on board.
You will be fishing aboard the “Sea Reaper”, a 26 ft Mako center console that offers 360 degree fishability as well as ample storage space for your belongings as well as cooler space for your drinks and snacks. This meticulously maintained vessel is regularly restored to keep it in the best condition, and its two Suzuki motors provide a fast and reliable ride to the fishing grounds.
You will be fishing with conventional and spinning light tackle, using both live bait and artificial lures depending on the occasion and target species. On a four hour inshore trip, you will be targeting species such as Mangrove Snapper, Sheepshead and Redfish, while longer trips could take you nearshore for Tarpon and Sharks, or further out for Red Snapper, Wahoo, or Mahi Mahi, among many others. Offshore fishing is seasonal. As well as tackling these species, you will have the chance to enjoy the area’s pristine surroundings as you travel to and from the fishing grounds, and benefit from the captain’s vast knowledge of this delicate ecosystem.
While Captain Christopher prefers to practice catch and release, he is happy to clean and fillet some fish for you at the end of the trip for your dinner.
Please note - the balance for the trip must be paid a day in advance so Captain Chris can make sure everything is perfect for you on the day of your fishing trip.
