Was tough start, but Capt. Dusty kept working hard to find the fish.  Very informative,  and help us with the best techniques to catch the fish.  Caught a lot of speckled trout, but with the new slot limit in place it was tough getting the big ones.  We limited out with some nice big ones.  We then headed to catch some reds.  And had a blast caught our limit as well as a bunch of black drum to take home too.  Great time.  Would highly recommend.  Even got to see Capt. Dusty go swimming thanks to my son.

Dusty was able to put us on multiple species during our half day fishing trip. We caught a few nice Redfish, and multiple trout and black drum. He taught us how to use a popping cork in short order and were rippin’ lips in no time.

Boat is comfortable to fish from and plenty of space to chase the big fish around the boat when needed.

Absolute blast after a few days of work down in Corpus Christi.

I am a little late in leaving a review. We went out with Dusty on the 4th of July. My son has never been to Texas or chartered a boat so we decided when we visited relatives to do so. Apparently shrimp boats in the area were broke down so there was no shrimp for bait to be had so we used another live bait and we had a lot of fun and Dusty was great. We just wanted to keep enough to eat as we were flying back that night. We caught trout, a flounder, skip jack and a type of catfish. Dusty dropped us off at a restaurant and dock that cleaned and cooked our fish. He gave us a recommendation on how to have them cook our fish and it was a great meal and experience. This is my second time chartering with Dusty. Thanks again, Dusty!!!

Captain Dusty did what the best guides do: he put us on fish. We had tons of opportunity and caught some big reds and a big trout. Dusty is very professional, instructional, and an overall great guy to spend the day with. Could not ask for a better trip!

It was a wonderful day of fishing. Our first time on the bay. Captain Dusty is a great teacher. We knew nothing about fishing. We caught fish all day. He helped my son catch a 28” trout. WOW. Along with that we caught a 33” red fish. We were catching fish all day. Dusty was also able to set us up with a taxidermist to get a replica made of the trout. We can’t wait to schedule our next trip with Dusty. Thank you so much for a wonderful day on the bay.
