Starting out of Freeport Florida, you’ll explore its inshore waters as well as the flats and backcountry to chase various interesting species. Captain Jeremy Russell will show you the best spots for making a catch and make sure your return home with many fond memories. You’ll use a restored 24’ War Eagle bass boat to do your fishing. It can take up to 4 guests, runs on a 115 HP Mercury engine, and uses GPS and fishfinder systems for navigation. Also, the boat has got a wireless trolling motor, an ice-box, and a livewell. Your trip will be joined by a first mate who’ll give you any assistance you may need.
The species you’ll target include Mullet Snapper, Spotted Seatrout, Ray, Sheepshead, as well as Redfish. You can attract them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, fly fishing, and even bow fishing, all using light tackle. You’re free to either keep or release the fish you catch and you’re welcome to bring along kids on your trip.
Your captain will provide you with the rods, reels, tackle, fishing licenses, live bait, and lures. You can also have your fish cleaned at no extra cost. For the trip, you’ll just need your fly fishing gear and some food and drinks.
