Join Old Salt Charters for fun inshore, nearshore, and flats fishing trips. Starting out of Port Isabel, Texas, you and Captain Michael Barrera will go to the area’s best spots in search of various quality fish. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome and kids are encouraged to join in the fishing fun.
Your journey starts on a 20’ Shallow Stalker bay boat that can take up to 4 guests fishing. It’s powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine, has got a livewell to supply you with live bait, and it also has an ice-box for storing your fish and drinks.
There’s a number of fishing techniques you can try out, including bottom fishing, popping, drift fishing, and Flounder gigging. The choice of fish species is excellent. You can catch Mangrove and Lane Snapper, King Mackerel, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, Snook, and more. Be free to bring your kids along and make the trip even more fun. You can choose if you’ll release the fish you catch or take it home with you.
Captain Michael will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, and water. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch free of charge. Yours is just to bring fishing licenses and some food.
Pack your stuff and hop aboard, Old Salt Charters is waiting for you!
