Explore the Galveston Bay complex with Captain Chance Angel! You will be guided around the inshore waters on Captain Chance’s 2006 Triton 240 LTS, which is powered by a 225HP Mercury engine and has a maximum speed of 50 knots.
Capt. Chance’s Triton is furnished with a standard assortment of navigational utilities, including GPS, Fishfinder, as well as a VHF radio. Both a wireless trolling motor and a live bait tank can be found on board.
Seeing as Captain Chance has lived in the Galveston Bay area all his life, he’s well-equipped to show you the saltwater inshore fishing opportunities in the local vicinity. He specializes in wade fishing and drift fishing, and fishes with live and artificial bait for a variety of inshore species such as Speckled Trout, Redfish and Flounder. His preferred fishing techniques are light tackle, jigging and popping. Fish caught on a trip with Captain Chance can be kept by the customer or, if you prefer, you can practice catch and release.
All rods, reels and tackle are included in the price, as are lures and catch cleaning and filleting. However, although ice is provided for drinks and fish box, it is suggested that you bring your own refreshment and an icebox to take your catches home with you. You also need to bring your own fishing license. While live bait is not included in the price, you can buy it from the captain at the market price.
If you’re looking for more than just fishing, Captain Chance is also an avid hunter, and can arrange full day ‘Cast and Blast’ trips for you that include half a day’s hunting and a half day of fishing. He can also cater for corporate trips, for which he can provide lodging.
