Salty Adventures Charter Fishing

Come join Twistedpalms Salty Adventures for an unforgettable day on the water. With over 35 years of fishing, Captain Shults enjoys providing a quality experience to his guests. Captain Shults enjoys teaching his skills to the inexperienced and younger anglers and is a perfect match for those looking to learn.  This charter is kid friendly and made for families to enjoy.  Additionally, he is set up and ready for those more experienced anglers to satisfy their desire to push the limits of offshore fishing.

Safety is paramount on his vessel and he will not take out a trip where the safety of all passengers is a concern. He has been fishing the local wrecks and reefs in the Pensacola area for over 8 years and will work hard to get you on spots that hold lots of tasty fish.

You will board a comfortable 27’ Tidewater boat, with 360 degrees of fishing space for a quick ride into the Gulf, or Pensacola Bay where you can target a variety of species. This center console is big enough to accommodate up to 6 guests, so bring your friends and family along. She’s powered by twin 200 HP Yamaha engines and features the latest Garmin navigational electronics.

Red Snapper and Triggerfish season is one of the most popular times to fish. You will have a chance to catch Snapper or Triggerfish of your lifetime, while possibly hooking into a huge Amberjack, Cobia, Grouper, Kingfish, and Mahi Mahi.

There are no guarantees with nature. However, during your trip, Capt. Shults will do everything he can to keep you in the action.

There are plenty of options and types of fishing available in the Perdido Key area and Twistedpalms Salty Adventures will be happy to set your charter to your needs.

I grew up fishing and have a love for our waterways. I always looked for an excuse to go fishing. I used to fish Bass tournaments until a friend took me out in the ocean. There is nothing more exciting than to drop a line in the ocean and hook into a monster fighter. The greatness of fishing in saltwater is not knowing what’s on the other end of your line until it breaks the surface.

March 16, 2024
We took off on a full day offshore adventure and hit several spots where the catches were nonstop. After culling through nearly 100 fish caught we landed several keeper sized triggerfish. Offshore- Red snappers and triggerfish are abundant and the water temperatures are creeping up slowly which should make the fishing even hotter. Inshore we are landing some nice bull redfish and the sheepshead run is almost there. We are picking up a few early season fish on the jetties and expect to see them start piling up any day now. There is great early season opportunities out there and we look forward to getting people hooked up with some great catches to brag about.
