Booked on what ended up being a very cold morning. Captain Hawkins suggested we throw in the towel and try the next afternoon. This allowed me to add 2 more people to my party. The 4 of us caught around 30 fish in just a few hours. Captain Hawkins was patient with beginners and genuinely excited every time we had a fish on. I would definitely recommend.

My husband and I recently enjoyed a fantastic fishing trip with Captain Brian Hawkins of Folly Beach, SC. Captain Brian was waiting for us when we arrived a few minutes before our trip was scheduled to leave and was a wonderful guide for over 4 hours. We learned a lot about the different types of local fish, saw many dolphins, and enjoyed a fun boat ride. I’m not much of an angler (understatement!) and Capt. Brian made it as easy as possible for me by baiting my hooks, casting my lines, and removing the hooks from the fish I caught. With his advice and know-how, I even managed to catch several red fish in spite of my own incompetence! My husband really enjoyed catching red fish and sea trout. We, both, caught other varieties that we previously didn’t even know existed. What a great way to spend a morning or afternoon at the beach!

Captain Brian Hawkins was an overall excellent experience! He was very knowledgeable of the local area and communicative about the tides and weather to make the trip as enjoyable as possible! We will definitely be back to slay more reds, drums, and sheepshead!

Captain Hawkins easily runs one of the best guide/charter outfits I’ve ever experienced. We had very high winds and even stronger currents which made fishing very tough but Brian still put all three of us on fish most of the day. We caught a bunch of fish including several different species and some trophies too. I can say with no doubt whatsoever, this captain offers the best customer service I’ve ever experienced with a charter starting with initial contact all the way through last contact. I highly recommend fishing with captain Hawkins!
