You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Stratos boat that welcomes up to 2 guests. This bass boat is powered by a 225 HP Evinrude engine and features Humminbird Gen 2 navigational electronics - so you can count on reaching the right spot and fast.

Capt. Joe specializes in catch and release fishing for Largemouth Bass. Besides Largemouth, there are many other species you can go after such as Yellow Perch, Carp, Smallmouth Bass, and Catfish. All of them are fun to catch and a delicacy to eat. Depending on the current regulations, you’ll be able to keep your catch (not Largemouth Bass), so start looking for some fish recipes. You’ll mainly use light tackle to get your catch.

The trips are suitable for anglers of all skill levels, so don’t hesitate to join. All you need to do to get ready is to pack some food and drinks for the day. The captain will take care of your fishing equipment by bringing a variety of rods, reels, and lures.

Your guide will typically meet you at Leesylvania State Park dock, depending on weather conditions, and can meet at the National Harbor for an additional charge.
