Everything was wonderful except for waiting for food to cook. I would suggest to take us back to our resort so we could get out of sun & come back at designated time to eat the delicious deal.  Willie was accommodating, fun, but too much sun on the beach with no shade. We needed to make this suggestion & I am confident he would have given us some options.  Awesome day fishing, conch hunting & exploring for lobster.

We had a great day of fishing, snorkeling and eating with captain Willie and Wallace!  Willie picked our group up at our private dock and started the day off with catching some live bait. We then ventured out to fish, where everyone in our group caught multiple fish. We then we diving for conch and had a lovely beach picnic. We ended our day with snorkeling on the reef. All had a great time a would highly recommend Willie and Wallace.

A few tips:
Lunch was served around 2pm, so I’d highly recommend bringing snacks or eating a hearty breakfast beforehand
Bring beach towels to dry off in between swimming/snorkeling
Wear layers, as it can be a lot cooler out on the water versus on the beach

Wonderful trip with Willie and Alexa. Very professional and helpful. It was pretty windy the day we went out so Willie took us back in the bay so the water wouldn’t be as rough. Caught lots of snapper and yellowtail. Willie and Alexa cooked a delicious meal of fish, potatoes, rice, and vegetables. We ate lunch on a nice secluded sandy beach. Later in the day we went under the bridge and out to the reef to try to catch some bigger fish. No luck. We had fish left so Willie gave me some fillets to take to a restaurant for them to prepare. We took them to Pier 366 Seafood House where they served the fish grilled, blackened, and fried. It was a delicious meal!

Booked a full day for the Reel, Grill & Chill trip with Captain Willie. He picked us up right from our private pier at Hol Chan Reef Villas at 8 o’clock. We ventured out for about 15 minutes then anchored up and began fishing. Captain Willie moved the boat several times to make sure we were always on a bite. We caught several species of Snapper as well as some Mackerel. We fished for about 3 hours and had a cooler full of fresh fish ready for the grill!

Captain Willie then toured us around the island to a private beach area and began cooking the fish. The meal he prepared was amazing! It consisted of our different species of fish in a delicious sauce along with potatoes and rice. We stayed on the beach long enough to gather some shells and enjoy some Landshark beers that were provided by Willie. Finally we cruised around the island (San Pedro) and headed out to the reef for some snorkeling. We saw nurse sharks, stingrays, eels, and several varieties of fish on the dive. Captain Willie even dove down and gathered a conch for us to see.

The overall experience of this trip was amazing because we enjoyed each part of the trip. Captain Willie and his first mate, Alexi, were always attentive to our needs and made the trip really an unBelizable experience!
