Capt. Sal’s fishing passion is unmatched and one of his favorite things is teaching the beginner to novice angler the best techniques for the fishery they opt for. When it comes to children anglers, Capt. Sal has a very patient way with youngsters and strives incredibly to make their fishing experience one they will never forget!

You’ll be fishing on a 24’ Seahunter, designed to handle anything from the Back Country Everglades to offshore deep sea fishing and all in-between. It fishes up to 4 anglers and has a super comfortable and dry ride providing a great fishing experience for our customers.

Captain Sal welcomes questions and has a knack for making your fishing experience a most pleasurable one. Once you fish with Captain Sal you will find yourself looking forward to your next booking with him…as his clients become family and he is always a cell call away to answer any possible question you may have.

You only need to pack some snacks and drinks for the day, as everything else is covered by the captain.

Captain Sal brought us to the fish. He gave us cle ar directions to meet him at the boat. He cleaned our fish for us and recommended a local restaurant on the beach that would prepare it for us. It was resonable and quite good. A morning of catching fish followed by lunch eating that fish. Life is good.

8 HR BACKCOUNTRY on February 2, 2025 • 3 adults

We did a full day in the Florida back country fishing with Capt. Sal. He was professional and worked and taught us something every spot we stopped at. We pushed 26 miles to the backcountry try and caught speckled trout, than when to a Honey hole for Spanish Mackerel (one of the reasons we picked the wi tee trip.) ended up giving it a shot for some Bone fish and permit no luck but it was just a try. Wrapped up the day fishing g the bridges and caught a few more snappers. I would recommend Sal to anyone either the hard core fisherman, the avg fisherman (me) or someone with kids who just want to have a great time. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a tone of patience. Sal we would have given you 10 stars but the system only allows 5.

Great boat and captain

4 HOUR TARPON/SHARK TRIP on June 7, 2025 • 4 adults

Our target was tarpon and Captain Sal delivered. We travel all over the world to target bucket list fish and very happy we choose Captain. Great guy, fun conversations and he knows his stuff. Tide did not cooperate but he went above and beyond for us to land an 80 pound Tarpon. Bonus fish was a Goliath Grouper. Can’t wait to book him again!

Great trip! Captain Sal is great for all ages and levels of fishing experience. We maxed out on yellowtail and had a lot of fun catching and releasing blue runners and false albacore. definitely recommend! Very easy to deal with and get along with as well.

Great Day of Fishing!

4 HOUR HALF DAY (AM) TRIP on March 16, 2025 • 4 adults

We had a great time fishing with Hooligan Sportfishing. Captain Dan (Captain Sal’s son) was excellent. He checked in with every member of our group often and provided guidance to help us have the best experience possible. We could barely cast our line into the water before we were all catching fish! He even provided tips for cooking the fish that we caught. We would be happy to fish with Captain Dan again in the future.
