Join Tug This Sportfishing for an amazing inshore adventure. Captain Dalton has been fishing these waters for over 20 years and knows them like the palm of his hand. On this listing, the focus is on shorter, inshore trips for smaller groups. Besides this one, you can also take a trip on his second boat, suitable for more anglers and trips that go further away from the shore.
You’ll be fishing on a 17’ Maycraft boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. This center console was restored in 2020, so you can count on brand new navigational electronics and safety gear. She’s powered by a 60 HP Mercury engine and a wireless trolling motor. There’s a T-top that provides some shade as well, but it’s best to bring a hat and a pair of sunglasses.
Inshore trips are both fun and relaxing. Since you won’t go far from the shore, you’ll reach your fishing spot in no time. Species you’ll go after on this trip are usually smaller and not aggressive, such as Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Redfish. As a bonus, you can also catch a portion of Clams. Try out different fishing techniques and learn new tricks you can do with your equipment.
It’s easy to get ready for this trip as the captain covers most of the things you’ll need. The price includes your fishing licenses, equipment, and bottled water. The captain will also clean your catch after the trip, so you’ll leave the dock with the freshest fish fillets you can find. Just pack your sun protection and some snacks.
Whenever you feel the need to explore the inshore waters and catch some tasty fish on the way, Tug This Sportfishing is here for you. Just pick a date.
