Blue Sky Fishing Charters welcomes you aboard for an exciting day on the waters of Chauvin, LA. Captain Brent will be your guide and host for this day and show you the best fishing spots in the area. He’s been catching fish here for a very long time and loves to share his knowledge with other people. All trips are family-friendly and don’t require previous fishing experience.

You’ll be fishing on a 25’ Shearwater that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is powered by a 350 HP Yamaha engine and reaches the speed of 40 knots. Fitted with navigational and safety gear, you can count on this boat to take you to your fishing spot fast and with ease.

Redfish and Speckled Trout are the main targets of the day but you never know what else might bite the bait. You’ll mainly use spinning light tackle, which is a great way to get the feel for the equipment and recognize when to start reeling. You can release the catch or choose to keep it if you’re planning to eat it later. The captain will clean the catch for you free of charge.

All fishing equipment and licenses are included in the price. You only need to pack your food and drinks and you’re ready to go.
