Fireline Fishing Charters
Fireline Fishing is an inshore, river, and lake fishing guide service based out of Washington North Carolina that targets different species of fish all over eastern NC. When, where, and what species you’ll target will depend on many factors, but you and Captain Caylin Burrell will try and chase them at prime times of the year.
From Striped Bass during the spring spawn in the Roanoke River to Big Red Drum in the Pamlico Sound during the Fall, you’ll have a great chance to return with a fine catch. Fireline Fishing’s an insured, professional, and family-oriented guide service dedicated to making your fishing experience the best it possibly can. Whether you’re a first-time novice or an experienced angler, Fireline Fishing has a trip for you.
Your journey will start on a restored 22’ Privateer Bay boat. It can sit up to 4 guests and runs on a 135 HP Mercury Outboard that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. The boat uses modern GPS and fish finder technology to safely and quickly take you to the fish, a wireless trolling motor for a tactful approach to the fish, and also a live well to supply you with live bait.
Some of the species you can chase include, Spotted Seatrout, Bluefish, Red Drum, Black Drum Sheeps Head, Striped Bass and more. You’ll catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, jigging, popping corks, artificial and live bait as well as fly and drift fishing. Kids are welcome to join the trip and you’re free to keep the fish you catch within regulations.
Captain Caylin will provide you with all the Bait and Tackle you’ll need for the trip and will also clean and fillet your catch. The only thing you should bring is a valid fishing license and small cooler for drinks and snacks. If you’d like to fly fish, then you’ll need to bring your own gear.
Come visit Fireline Fishing and have a great fishing experience in the Pamlico Sound.
