The teasers crew was nice, boat was smaller and older then expected and our boat was changed without notification. We were told the hats off boat was overbooked. Not happy that this happened as we expected a different boat and paid well for this trip. The Teasers Aruba crew was nice and friendly. We didn’t catch much only one fish, although we understand that how fishing can be. Overall my only complaint was the switching of boat without being notified. If they couldn’t accommodate us we should of been able to select our own replacement boat. This was not discussed until we arrived.

The guys worked hard and put me on some nice fish! A large bull Mahi, a large Wahoo and a yellowfin to go along with lots of blackfin and bonito.

Captain Sherwin and his mate, Alexander were awesome. They took us out seas were a little rough, but they did their best to put us on the fish. We hooked up twice and we’re unable to real them in. We still had a great time on the water. I would charter them again. That’s why they call it fishing not catching LOL. We will see you again

Went out with Sherwin and Alexander and we had quite the morning. 10-15 from the dock we get a hit and Sherwin calls out, “Marlin!” After a 25-30 fight the battle was over. Great fight. And then we caught tuna for dinner (which they cleaned and bagged). Great crew. Great boat. Great experience!

First off, Sherwin and Alexander were excellent hosts, knew what they were doing, and made the experience of catching only 1 fish over 4 hours as good and fun as it could be.  I would recommend this charter because of them.

However, the boat was extremely unimpressive.  I realize I was there to fish, not enjoy the boat amenities, and I realize the boat is 44 years old, but the toilet was what I would expect of an outhouse on land, and the room across from the toilet was literally filled with trash.  Maybe I was wrong to expect more, but since we were not catching any fish (again not blaming the crew for that) the focus turned inward to the boat.

As to fishing in Aruba, my experience is that it is not worth it.  I have chartered a boat 4 times, once in March, once in July, and twice in November of different years and have twice caught only 1 fish, once 3 and once 4.  Certainly not blaming the boats or the crew, but for me there is no need to go deep-sea fishing in Aruba again.
