Captain Joe Jerome offers fishing adventures out of Phippsburg, ME. Explore the pristine Maine waters from early summer though fall.

Our 4 hour striper fishing trips are perfect for anglers age 9+ who want a chance to target multiple species including powerful stripers around the rugged islands and rocky shorelines of Casco Bay.  If you are lucky enough to catch a striper in the legal slot size, Captain Joe will happily fillet and package it for you to take home.  Please note we only allow 1 keeper per boat to help preserve the healthy population levels.

Our 2 hour family fishing trips are available for ages 5+ and we will spend our time jigging our way across the granite ledges of Casco Bay targeting mackerel, pollock, cod, cunner and other elusive groundfish species.  This trip is family friendly and suitable for anglers of all skill levels, especially beginners.  Please note that this trip is catch and release only.

Join us on this 3 hour saltwater fishing charter as we target stripers as part of the Littoral Society’s Striped Bass Tagging Program.
You will learn safe fish handling techniques, and use tagging equipment to help track and preserve the health of this wonderful fishery for generations to come.

You’ll be fishing on a 21’ Maritime boat that accommodates up to 4 guests (1000lbs) who must be physically able to stand whilst fishing, and safely manoever around a 21’ skiff. We dont offer seated trolling trips.

This boat is powered by a brand new 115 HP Yamaha engine that reaches the speed of 30 knots. With a fast boat, you’ll reach your fishing spots quickly and spend less time traveling. The boat also features navigational electronics, a wireless trolling engine, a live bait tank, and a cooler.

Capt. Joe covers all of your fishing equipment and licenses. You only need to pack your drinks and snacks for the day and you’re ready to go.

    Join us for an aquaculture fishing trip to our oyster farm, and get involved doing real fieldwork for our shellfish reef building program. During this 1.5-hour trip, you'll catch bait fish for our pots, haul crab pots, learn about the different species of crabs and shellfish in the Gulf of Maine, search for oyster ‘cluster’ twins to plant into our reef, and enjoy shucking and slurping Maine oysters right out of the water. This trip is perfect for future marine biologists of all ages. Maximum 6 people.
