Salty Peters Guide Service operates out of Port O’Connor and offers fishing trips within the area year round. Captain Jon has been fishing the Port O’Connor/Seadrift area (West Matagorda, Espiritu Santo, and San Antonio Bays) for over 15 years and has lots of experience to share with all of his guests.
You can either wade or fish out of a 26’ Mowdy catamaran that accommodates up to 4 guests. This bay boat is perfect for exploring the back bays and/or shorelines.
During your trip, you will use either artificial lures or live bait (live bait cost - not included within daily rate), depending upon your comfort level, your request, and what the fish are biting on You will target Redfish, Trout, and Black Drum and can either fish a full day or half day.
Captain Jon has all the rods and reel. If you want to wade and need the gear (except for boots) he has that too. All you will need to bring is your fishing license, snacks and drinks of your choice for the day. Trips include fish cleaning.
It’s easy to get ready for a trip with Salty Peters Guide Service. Secure your place on the boat on time and join the action.
