What a great Captain we had today. Captain Mike had us reeling in fish within the first 5 minutes of fishing! We booked the 6 hour charter and it was perfect for hitting multiple spots and targeting multiple species. Not only was he knowledgeable he was also very persistent on my family catching fish all day. Mr Mike was very accommodating and eager to talk to us about the species we were after and how special each species was to the environment. Even though it was his anniversary Captain Mike never rushed us to get the day over with. He was our Captain for the day and that’s just what it was. If you would like to go on an awesome fishing trip, with a great Captain, well his name is Captain Mike with Precision Back Country Charters. We will not forget our experience and will be booking with Captain Mike for any future charters!

Would book this trip again 100%. Captain Mike provided a great trip and is super knowledgeable. We initially booked a day trip with Mike, however, due to a hurricane a week prior Mike suggested we rebook our trip to the evening to make up for the change in the behavior of the fish. With this change Mike was able to get us out on the water the same day as it was the only day that worked for our friend group. Super stoked at how accommodating he was; and we also ended up catching tons of fish. He knew all the spots, provided everything we needed and is also a super great guy. Would recommend this trip to anyone looking to go.

What a beautiful moment we had with Capt Mike ! Lovely and funny guy, with a lot of experience and a sight of an eagle! He’s able to see where are all the fish and to tell you where to cast ! Always caring about your experience, he is glad to cast himself and give you the fishing rode or attach your bait, he’s going to do everything to make sure you enjoy your moment and experience. This guy is truly a legend. No money waste, we catch a lot of fish and Mike’s company was awesome. Perfect 5 stars moment period.!

We fished in tough conditions. It was a post cold front day and the water temps had dropped ten degrees.  Mike tried a bunch of spots where we got lots of short strikes.  We saw plenty of snook and a few redfish, but fish ignored our live bait for the most part.

We caught some mangrove snappers, one snook, and a small black tip shark. I had a big fish grab a bait and hold on for a while, but it broke off.  Both the snook and the shark were very lethargic in the cold water with not much of a fight.

Mike worked very hard on a difficult day to get fish on our lines.  We still had a good time.  The mark of a good guide is how he responds to difficult conditions. In my opinion, Mike did an excellent job. I would be happy to fish with him in better conditions.

To have a Captain who is as excited to catch fish as you are, says it all. We nailed some really decent Reds. Had a nice visit from a Manatee and baby!. Double digits on the catch.
Mike is a great Captain and super knowledgeable. Awesome day.
