The captain has been fishing these south Texas waters since his childhood and knows all the best spots to make your trip successful and fun. You’ll go to the local bays and inland waterways to chase a variety of species. Whether you’re an experienced angler or a beginner new to saltwater fishing, Port Aransas Premier Outfitters’ goal is a great adventure and experience with memories that last a lifetime. You’ll start your trip on a 23’ Haynie bay boat that can sit up to 3 guests and is powered by a 200 HP Suzuki engine. The boat is rigged with all the modern GPS, fishfinder, I-spot Minn Kota trolling motor and radio technology for safe and efficient navigation, and also features a livewell to supply you with live bait.
The species you can target include Speckled Trout, Black Drum, Redfish, Sheepshead, and Flounder, and you’ll catch them drift fishing with light tackle, equipped to fish the jetties.
Captain Kevin will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, and bait, and he’ll also clean and fillet your catch. You just make sure to have a valid Texas license with a saltwater stamp, and the food and drinks of your choice.
