I had a great trip with Capt Chris. I took a four hour inshore charter. I caught plenty of redfish and sea trout and a smattering of other fish. More importantly, Capt Chris was extremely knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. I would have learned a great deal about local fishing conditions and techniques generally, and would have had a great time, even if we had not fared so well. I would definitely recommend Keen Eye to anyone looking to fish in the Charleston area.

Chris was excellent, very responsive on the app and text, very professional and personable with a deep knowledge of the Charleston area waters. Our family had so much fun, and we caught so many fish (speckled sea trout, sea bass, and Red
Drum), even the kids were worn out reeling them in, ha. We are already thinking about a future off-shore trip, after our near-shore trip was so successful. Would definitely recommend for the Kiawah and Seabrook area!

We booked a nearshore trip in mid April with Captain Chris. Had a good experience and landed a variety of fish. Well equipped comfortable boat. Chris is knowledgeable, very accommodating and efficient. His knowledge of local waters and wildlife was much appreciated by two veterinarians…
What an excellent way to celebrate our wedding anniversary.. Thank you!

First trip was for younger kids…dolphin watching and shelling.  Family had a great time and came back with lots of shells. 

Second trip was shark fishing (specific request from my son).  Captain Chris was locked in and got us to the bite at his top spot, but unfortunately one in our party got seasick right then.  He willingly moved to calmer waters, but didn’t quit trying to find sharks.  We worked through several missed bites and catching several very large rays in the calmer waters to finally bring a nice lemon shark to the boat. 

We left with big smiles and good memories from each trip.  I’d highly recommend Captain Chris and Keen Eye Charters and wouldn’t hesitate to try him again on another trip.
