Explore the waters of the Island of Orust with Wild Fish Sweden! Only 70 km north of Gothenburg, you’ll find fishing heaven. Your guide and host for the day is Captain Jonas, who’s been fishing in the area for over 25 years. Besides being an avid fisherman, he’s also a published photographer, so you can count on some amazing photos as well.

It all starts when you come aboard a 12’ Linder boat. To make the most out of this small vessel, the capacity is limited to only 2 guests. You and your fishing buddy will have the captain’s full attention and all the fish to yourselves. The boat features Hummingbird navigational electronics and MinnKota wireless engine.

During your lake adventure, you’ll mainly target Zander, Northern Pike, and Perch. There’s lots of fishing techniques to choose from and it all depends on what you are trying to catch and how hard you want to push yourself. You get to keep the catch, unless they are big Pike and Perch specimens.

The captain will prepare your fishing gear, including the fly fishing equipment. If this is your first time trying this technique, the captain will show you how everything’s done. Anglers of all skill levels are welcome to join.

While your equipment is included in the price, you’ll need to prepare your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks for the day.

    You'll fish for Pike in a small lake, with a good possibility to catch specimens over 100 centimers. The top fish in 2020 was 123 centimeters long! Your fishing equipment is included in the price but don't forget to bring your fishing licenses, snacks, and drinks.

I've been fishing my whole life and I have been guiding for 25 years. I love being out on the Ocean going fishing for saltwater species but I have spent a lot of time in the mountain streams and sweet water lakes fishing for Arctic Char, Graylings and Trouts. I'm also doing a lot of Pike fishing and I fish for Perch and Zander as well.
