Williamson Outfitters - Capt. Chris
Is Tripletail fishing on your bucket list? Then join Capt Chris and Capt Brice with Williamson Outfitters! Featured in the April ‘22 issue of Florida Sportsman magazine and October ‘22 issue of Florida Country magazine! From April to September the Apalchicola Bay region is home to some of the largest and most plentiful Tripletail in the South. Tripletail are one of the absolute best fish to sight cast, very hard fighters, cooperative eaters, and one of the best table fare you will ever come across!
Mahi-mahi, island escort, & scalloping trips are also available during the summer months (see date info in the listings).
You’ll be fishing on the “Mary Frances”, a 25’ Pathfinder tower boat that accommodates up to 4 fishing guests (6 guests on Island Escorts and Scalloping trips). As your safety is the #1 concern of this crew, the boat is equipped with the necessary USCG safety gear. This boat was built in 2021 and she’s powered by a 300 HP Yamaha engine. Besides navigational electronics, there’s also a live bait tank and a cooler.
These trips are available only during the warmer time of the year, so make sure to book your spot on time.
All fishing equipment and your licenses are included in the price. The captain will also clean your catch after the trip, so use that as extra motivation. Then, you just need to find a good local restaurant or a recipe, if you prefer to prepare it yourself. Don’t forget to pack some snacks and drinks for the trip.
Williamson Outfitters has a crew that will be by your side every step of the way, to ensure a successful and memorable day on the water.
