Orland Outfitters – Salmon Fishing
Orland Outfitters welcomes you to Chico, California and invites you on a fun and enjoyable fishing trip on the beautiful Sacramento River. One of the best freshwater destinations in the whole country, the river will give you plenty of opportunity to fish as well as charm you with its beauty. Come join Guide Mike Hendry and spend a wonderful day fishing and enjoying the serene and rich Sacramento River.
You’ll start your trip from a 22’ Northriver jet boat that can accommodate up to 4 guests. It runs on one 350 HP Kodiak engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 40 knots. It uses GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology for safe navigation, and is equipped with a wireless trolling motor, livewell, and downriggers.
You and your guide will be using light tackle to troll, spin, and drift fish, and the species you can target are Striped Bass, Shad, Rainbow Trout, and Salmon. You can choose whether you’ll release your catch back to the water or keep it and take it home with you. Children are welcome to join the trip.
Guide Mike will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, lures, drinks, and will also clean and fillet your catch. You’ll only need to bring your fishing licenses and some food.
Come spend a day on the beautiful Sacramento River and have a wonderful time fishing!
