You’ll have fun as you search lakes and rivers for a great number of different species and you’ll also enjoy the area’s beautiful natural surroundings. Guide Thomas Limbach will show you many different techniques to catch a lot of fish, show you where to find it, and how to properly clean your catch. Come aboard and have a great time on the waters of Allenton!
Your trip starts on a 19’ Crestliner Fish Hawk 1850 aluminum fishing boat. It can easily sit up to 3 guests and is powered by a 115 HP Mercury engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 36 knots. It uses modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio electronics for navigation, a wireless trolling motor for a quieter approach to the fish, and is equipped with downriggers and a livewell. You’ll also have an ice-box to store your fish and drinks.
You’ll have the chance to go after Walleye, Lake trout, Brown Trout, and Crappie. There’s a wide choice of techniques you can use to catch them, including bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, popping, as well as fly and drift fishing. You can choose whether you’ll keep or release the fish you catch, although some of it will have to be released. Also, kids are more than welcome to join the trip, so feel free to bring them as well.
Guide Thomas will supply you with all the fishing gear, live bait, and lures, and he’ll clean and fillet your catch. Make sure you bring your licenses and some snacks and drinks before you depart.
