Captain Mac will take you out aboard his 28-foot Ricky Scarborough. Originally built in 1979, the vessel was restored in 2015 and comes powered by a 300 HP Cummins engine with a maximum cruising speed of 26 knots. The spacious boat provides comfortable fishing space for up to six anglers and is fully rigged with navigational electronics, as well as outriggers and down riggers for a professional fishing experience. The boat is fitted with a fighting chair for those who are up to a challenge, a live bait tank to keep the catch fresh during the day, and a flybridge to spot any action going on beneath the surface.
Whether it’s fishing the wrecks, the waters close to the shore or further out, each trip can be customized to meet your needs. The captain knows the zone like the back oh his hand and is very familiar with the methods the work best for the local waters. You will be able to test yourself in light and heavy tackle action, as well s bottom fishing, spinning, popping, trolling, jigging, fly fishing, drift fishing, spearfishing, and even kite fishing.
You will be going for Mahi-Mahi Mahi, Redfish, Flounder, Cobia, Amberjack, Black Drum, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel, and many other species.
All trips come with rods, reels, tackle, lures, and bait, as well as licenses for you and your group. Spearfishing and snorkeling equipment are also available. You only need to bring some food and drinks!
