Great day with my 2 daughters and myself.  We have been with several guides over 20+ years of fishing and Tom truly ranks among the top 5 in customer service which is what it is all about.  Fishing is the fun part, but I have been with guides that almost make it feel like a job opposed to going out and having a good time on the water.  He did a great job of moving us around to try to get on the fish.  Tough bite today, but if you fish long enough, you understand those days as well.  The main thing is that Tom remained a very courteous guide and we enjoyed talking about life in general with him as well.  Remember this when you fish, sometimes it can be a long half or full day, but it is great when you can just related well with your guide.  Understand Tom will be checking out guiding in Nueces Bay, we will definitely be looking forward to experiencing that with him next summer.  Thanks for a great trip for my and my girls.

Captain Tom was absolutely fantatsic! I was fairly concerned with how my boys would do being out on their first charter. Capt. Tom was super patient, made sure the boys were well taken care of and everyone had a great time. This is going to be a lifetime memory for my kids being their first time out and rhymes both caught nice sized reds. He definitely put us on the fish and we were all very happy!! Can’t wait to book again!!

WE had a nice day out with Capt Tom. The four of us had different levels of fishing experience,. and Capt Tom made sure we all felt comfortable and helped out as needed. We caught some—not a lot, but some—but we know that a big catch is never guaranteed. Capt Tom was on-time,. had equipment and live bait for us, the boat got us out fast, and he did his best to put us on some fish. The boat will accomodate 4 anglers, but it is a little tight. Some of us waded a bit, but it is mucky and you need to be a pretty good wader to do that.

Excellent experience all around. My twin 15yo had their first guided boat/bay fish. Shy types, but they were having fun. The boys couldn’t stop talking about it as we returned to our hotel. I sense new fish tales over the next few days. hahaha! Capt. Sowell is so helpful. Professional and knowledgeable. He knows the bay. I will charter with Capt. Sowell again. No doubt! Oh yea, we caught some flounder, reds and trout. Hard to beat that.

We had a great day fishing with Capt. Tom. Maxed out on our reds and had so much fun doing it. Can’t wait to come back again and again.
