The boat you’ll be using is a comfortable 25’ Carolina Skiff center console. This spacious boat can sit up to 6 anglers and is powered by a 150 HP Suzuki engine that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. The boat also uses all the modern GPS, fishfinder, and radio technology in order to secure safe and fast navigation, and is equipped with a livewell to supply you with live bait.
You and Guide James will be targeting Crappie and Striped Bass by bottom fishing, trolling, as well as spinning, all using light tackle. You can choose whether you’ll release the fish you catch back into the water or keep it and take it home. Also, feel free to bring your kids on your trip, it can be a wonderful opportunity to spend a day together and enjoy nature.
The guide will take care of all the rods, reels, tackle, live bait, and lures. He’ll also clean and fillet your catch so you can easily take it home. What you’ll need for the trip is just your fishing licenses and some snacks and drinks.
