My husband loves to fish. I do not. Captain Jamie made it so much fun though!  Glad he talked me into reeling in a few fish. He kept us busy too!  He knew the area well, what had been biting and where to find them. He didn’t waste time at locations that were not working out. We ended up with more fish than we know what to do with!  He was helpful and answered all of my questions with a smile!  We will be back and absolutely request Captain Jamie!  He even reached out the week before. We had booked a later time but it was getting so hot. I really appreciated him looking out for us!

We had a mix of ages in our group and everyone had a good time! The crew was great about getting us to a spot where we caught fish. We kept our catch, bluefish and spanish mackerel. The captian recommended soaking the bluefish in buttermilk before breading and frying and it turned out wonderful! Both kinds of fish were delicious! The crew was also very great about watching out for our youngest fisher (9). He was looking a little seasick, so they were able to get us in a spot with some shade where the water was calm and fish were still biting. The attention to detail and making sure everyone was comfortable made for a fantastic trip!

We started by going to check out how rough the gulf looked. Seemed good so we trolled out and around a few of the gas rigs catching a king mackerel and some Spanish mackerel. We then headed back into the bay, caught some Spanish mackerel and bait fish. Then used those and caught some sharks! On the way back to the marina we had some dolphin swimming along with us and playing. Overall it was an amazing trip and Captain Jamie did a great job getting us on some fish and working with my 10 year old to get some great fish in the boat.

Our trip was everything I hoped for! We caught so many Mackeral and a sting ray and a 23 pound Jack Crevell! Jamie our captain even stayed out 30 minutes longer to help us catch a red fish! We caught a Jack Crevelle which gave us a quite a fight! I will always rebooks I try Stressed out Charters and will ask for Jamie as he made out trip absolutely awesome! We loved his music and he couldn’t have made it easier for us! No sea sickness and it was a choppy day!! Best day ever!!!

My boys (10 and 11) have only ever fished off the pier at our lake in Wisconsin.  They’ve been asking to take charter boat fishing trip.  Looked up charter fishing and landed on Stressed Out.  We did the 3hr trip and it was everything they wanted.  Cpt Jamie took us out and we casted our lines.  No bites so we moved spots.  Cpt dropped a lure and fish was on the line.  He quickly gave it to my 11 year old son who spent 8 minutes reeling while Cpt Jamie instructed him on what to do.  He finally pulled the 15lb tuna on the boat.  My son was thrilled.  Few minutes later my other son got a bite and Cpt Jamie talked him through it.  “You gonna get him or he’s gonna get you” was all my son needed to pull up his snapper.  We caught 3 more blue gills within the next 15 minutes.  Went back to the dock to get them cleaned and took them to a restaurant to get cooked.  It’s a memory the boys will keep with them forever.  Great overall experience.  Will definitely book with Stressed Out again if we come back down here for another vacation.
