The boat you will be using is a 25’ Sea Cat walkaround that can sit up to 6 guests. It uses a twin 225 HP Mercury engine with a maximum cruising speed of 63 knots as well as GPS, fishfinder, and radio systems for fast and secure movement on the water. The boat has also got a toilet and bed and it features an ice-box to store your fish and a livewell to supply you with live bait.
The species you can target include Bonito, Shark, Mackerel, Alligator Gar, Bluefish, Redfish, as well as Jack Crevalle and Black Drum. You can catch them by bottom fishing, trolling, spinning, jigging, and drift fishing. All the fish you catch is yours to keep if you want to. Also, kids are always welcome on Captain Doug’s boat, so feel free to bring them along as well.
The captain provides you with all the fishing gear and licenses, and will also clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. Just remember to bring some snacks and drinks before you start your trip.
