Have a great time exploring the waters of Texas and create lovely fishing memories together with Galveston Bay Guide Service. Come fish the lovely coastal waters, flats, and reefs around Galveston and have fun chasing your next big catch. You’ll be in the safe hands of Captain Kody Martinez, a friendly angler who’ll make sure you have an enjoyable experience on the water. Pick your day and embark on the adventure!

Your trip starts on a 25ft 2017 Shallow Sport X3 center console that can fit up to 6 guests. The boat’s 250 HP Yamaha engine will quickly take you to your fishing spots. It’s got modern GPS and fishfinder navigation electronics and uses a wireless trolling motor for an easier fishing experience. There’s also a livewell to provide live bait.

You and Captain Kody will be chasing Flounder, Redfish, and Speckled Trout. In order to attract them, you can use spinning, popping, drift fishing, and anchored fishing all on light tackle. Choose if you’ll release the fish you catch or keep it and enjoy lovely meals with your loved ones. You’re also free to bring kids on your trip.

Before you leave, you should bring snacks, drinks, and fishing licenses. The captain will take care of all the tackle, rods, reels, and lures, and will provide a free catch cleaning and filleting.

    Flounder gigging trips offer a unique experience and are great for kids or avid outdoorsmen. You will be gigging off of a custom-built 20’ Boatright powered by a Suzuki four stroke outboard engine. The crew targets Flounder year-round but you can also expect to see Crab, Stingray, Sheepshead, Drum, as well as many other species. A couple of great things about Flounder gigging are that it is easy to learn and you beat the heat during the dog days of summer. Contact Capt. Kody to schedule your trip.

    6 Hour Trip, starts at 6:30 AM

    This trip with Galveston Bay Guide Service will see you target Flounder, Speckled Trout, and Redfish using live or artificial bait. These trips last 5-6 hours. The captain provides all the rods, reels, tackle, artificial lures, as well as ice, bottled water, and fish cleaning. Live bait is available at an extra cost at market price. You should bring a fishing license, drinks, snacks as well as an ice-chest to store take your catch and take it home. All anglers are welcome!
