There’s no great fishing trip without a great guide. That’s why spending a day with Captain Roy from South Florida Fishing Adventures is always a good idea. He’s been fishing in the area his whole life and dealt with any type of fish you can find here.
A long list of fishing tournaments he has won is proof of his expertise, but it doesn’t end there – you can also rely on the testimonies of many people who caught their first fish with Capt. Roy. Now, it’s time for you to fall in love with this sport.
It all starts with a 20’ Stratos boat that accommodates up to 3 guests. This bass boat was restored in 2020 and features the latest navigational electronics. She’s also powered by a 200 HP Mercury engine and reaches speeds of 65 knots. There’s also a live bait tank and a cooler for your drinks.
Your fishing spots may vary, depending on the season and what you’re targeting. You’ll mainly go after Peacock Bass and Largemouth Bass using light tackle. If you’re planning to eat the fish, you can choose to keep your catch.
All fishing equipment is included in the price and the captain will also make sure the cooler is filled with water. Feel free to pack other snacks and beverages and don’t forget your fishing license. It’s recommended to have your sunglasses and hats with you, especially on hot summer days.
