Wardog Guide Service
Come learn to fly fish! Wardog Guide Service is here to put you on the fish and show you the beauties of his local rivers. You’ll explore the McKenzie, Willamette, and the Umpqua Rivers with Captain Brandon.
He’s passionate about helping anglers of all skill levels enjoy fly fishing to the max. From building and developing your technique and skillset to connecting flies to fish, he’s got you covered.
The trip starts on an 18’ RB drift boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. The boat was restored in 2021 and upgraded with new fly fishing-specific details. You can always count on a safe and reliable ride on this boat, no matter what time of year you visit.
The local rivers offer many fish species, such as Smallmouth Bass, Crappie, Steelhead, Rainbow, Red Band, and Cutthroat Trout. If there’s another species you already have in mind that you’d like to go after, let the captain know in advance, so he can plan the perfect trip for you.
If you enjoy keeping and eating your fish, you’ll be glad to know that you get to keep the catch on select floats. Whether you’re keeping it for the freezer or heading straight to the kitchen after the trip, you can expect a delicious meal.
All fishing equipment is covered by the captain. For full-day trips, he’ll also prepare a riverside meal, snacks, and drinks to ensure your trip is top-notch.
Wardog Guide Service is happy to share its experience, passion for wildlife, and the outdoors with you. Give them a call and spend a relaxing day in nature.
