These guys are the reel deal…pun intended. The communication between captain & customer prior to our trip was a pleasant surprise. Captain Bob contacted us the evening before to make sure we knew exactly where we were headed, if we had any questions regarding the trip in general, as well what our expectations/intentions were for the trip. Needless to say he delivered above & beyond expectation. If you’re looking for a charter service that is truly passionate about what they do, you’re at the right place. We spent the trip trolling for Kings & let me tell you, we had an absolute hell of a time. We may have come home with only one keeper but we were on fish all day…literally right from the get go. Not even 10/15 minutes went by after our bait was in the water that we were hooked up with our first fish. After which we were on fish after fish. We did lose two keepers but that in no means reflects poorly on these guys. That is why they call it fishing & not catching after all. To boot, we hooked into a monster shark that proved to be one of the highlight fights of the day…and all on light tackle! All in all it was an incredible trip & experience with Reel Salty, so needless to say I will certainly be back for my future trips when in the area. Thanks again Capt Bob!

The Davidson Cousins

We had an amazing time fishing with the captain. This is the second year my 8 year old grandson has went out on the charter with us. Captain Bob made sure my grandson was catching fish and kept him engaged. Last year my grandson caught a fee small sharkes 1/2 feet. This year he caught a few 5/6 feet in length.  That alone made the whole trip for me. We did catch about 6 large sharks, one was about 8/9 foot hammer head. My son in law fought it for over 40 minutes.  The captain did an awsome jib driving the boat and making sure it did not snap the line. The fishing line was only a 30 pound line, and the hammer head was close to 200 ponds plus. We got it to the side of the boat twice and then cut it free. We. Cougt an assortment of other fish as well as 8/10 small black tips. We will be booking directly with Reel Salty Fishing Charter every year going forward!!

We had a wonderful experience with Captain Bob on a four hour morning fishing tour. He was very knowledgeable about fishing and the area. We caught lots of fish (sharks, mother in law fish, sea bass, pig fish and others). Although we didn’t get any keepers, we got a lot of photos and fun stories. There was even a gigantic mystery fish that fought us for half an hour before breaking the line and getting away!

Next time we book I would try a five hour or more trip so we could go out a little further for bigger fish. I would definitely recommend this fishing trip! Thanks again, Captain Bob!

We booked a 4 hour near shore trip and had a blast. With more then 5 bites and two fish in the boat we were ecstatic! The boat captain was very experienced and made it fun for the whole family. Definitely would go back again and I recommend this trip to everyone!

We had a morning trip with Captain Bob while visiting for spring break. It was a gorgeous day on the water. We caught fish first thing when dropping our first line in the water! We caught Spanish mackerel, tuna, bluefish, and many others. My 15-year old and his friend had a great time! I highly recommend!
