Let me know if you need anything else such as a cooler or bluetooth speaker and I might have it available . A lot of the beaches and sandbars are tide dependent so the exact location varies based on this. I always bring along a couple rods as well because you never know when you might come across a tarpon or bonefish!

One thing that is nice about the full day trip is that we have the ability to travel further to fish some very remote waters. It also allows us to fish multiple tide swings which ups our odds of finding the big one!

Born and raised in GA, I have had a fishing rod in hand since I was around 3 years old. I spent most of my time through highschool and college fishing lakes and rivers in Georgia and nearby states but I would always make at least one trip a year down to the salt waters of Florida. After college I went out west and bounced around to different jobs and states until I decided that I wanted to give guiding a shot. I headed up to Alaska and cut my teeth guiding from drift boats on the Kenai river. Between season I came down to the Florida Keys (to thaw out) and fell in love with the place and the complex puzzle that this fishery presents. After working at a local tackle shop and doing a little deck handing on the side, I got my captains license and started Held Fast Charters. I am truly blessed and living my dream!
