The Catterman Adventures LLC offers the adventure of a lifetime to their patrons - right from the comfort of the beach! Come out with Captain Kevin and his crew as they give you the chance to fish from the beach for Sharks with a true possibility of hooking into New Jersey’s biggest saltwater predators - with fish over 10’ long not being the thing of dreams, but reality!
Whether you choose 4, 6, 8, or 12-hour trip packages, there’s truly no surf fishing experience more exciting than catch-and-release land-based shark fishing, especially given the additional chance of catching giant stingrays!
Utilizing heavy-duty equipment, ethical catch & release practices, and high-quality media equipment, the Catterman Adventures LLC provides you with an amazing fishing experience that you will never forget about, that is both educational AND family-friendly.
During your trip you may encounter prohibited/federally protected species of Sharks - these must be immediately released without landing or possessing them - in this case, respecting the law will trump the desire for a photo or media content.
Catterman Adventures understands that in parts of the world fishing for these fish is controversial, so they want to face this issue hands-on by showcasing that fishing for them can also be beneficial to the species by utilizing the right practices. Sharks are incredible predators that fight like crazy, and are shrouded in mystery and there’s no feeling quite like being right next to one of these apex predators.
All charters operate during the evening/at night to avoid any negative encounters with the public and to ensure that visitors understand that these fish are much more active when people are leaving the beach.
In the end, by showing you how to correctly and ethically fish for them, Catterman Adventures wants to impart their love for them to you, but also wants to teach you how to correctly fish for them utilizing science-based practices. Join this amazing crew!
