Captain Paul Halasz grew up on the waters he fishes and believes catching fish is just one aspect of a fishing charter. Our main objective is to provide a unique charter experience and foster a love for the sport of fishing, while exploring the beauty of south Florida.

You will catch fish, but more importantly you will witness the true awe and beauty of the sea. Our charters cater to all levels, from experienced anglers to those just along for the ride. Visit multiple locations or request specific spots, our team will create a custom charter for you and your group.

This is a children-friendly charter, so you’re welcome to bring your kids on for a fun fishing adventure.

Tight Line Chronicles was founded by Port Charlotte native, Captain Paul Halasz after he traded in his position within an insurance company for flip flops and board shorts to start a business based on his true passion, being out on the water. As an experienced captain and a local boater, Capt. Paul strives to create a memorable experience for each one of his anglers while they catch a few fish along the way.

Free cancellation up to 1 day prior to trip

You can cancel or modify your booking up to 1 day before the trip date, free of charge. If you cancel or modify your booking later, or fail to show up, you'll forfeit 100% of what you've paid.

Book with 10% deposit, pay rest to captain

When the captain confirms your trip, FishingBooker charges your credit card a 10% deposit to guarantee your reservation.

The remaining balance is to be paid directly to the charter operator on or prior to your trip date in one of the following payment methods:
