Fishtrips invites you for an exciting day of fishing! Come enjoy a few hours on the beautiful waters around Marathon, Florida. You can fish the famous 7-mile bridge or offshore, all having a large variety of quality fish species on the offer. Captain Shawn Reese will make sure you visit all the spots with the biggest chance for making a catch and have a great time on the water. Pick a day and set sail!
Your trip starts on a 27 ft power catamaran center console. It’s big enough to accommodate 4 anglers and is powered by twin 150hp Mercury engines that can reach a maximum cruising speed of 35 knots. The boat uses modern GPS and fishfinder technology and is equipped with a livewell to supply you with live bait.
On your trip, you and the captain will target Mahi, Yellowtail and Mangrove Snapper as well as the occasional Grouper or Tarpon. you’ll catch them using spinning on light tackle. You can choose whether to keep the fish you catch and take it home, or simply release it back into the water. Kids are more than welcome to join aboard, so feel free to bring them as well.
Captain Shawn will provide you with all the rods, reels, tackle, lures, as well as fishing licenses, and will even clean and fillet your catch at no extra cost. What you should bring on your trip are just the snacks and drinks of your choice.
