Florida Republic Charters welcomes you to St. Augustine, Florida! The company strives to give all of its clients the best day on the water with the abundant fish population, wildlife, and scenery of this beautiful historic city. You will join Captain AJ Gruber and explore rivers, inshore, and nearshore waters in order to land a great catch. Pick a day, come aboard, and have a terrific fishing experience with Florida Republic Charters!
You will fish aboard a Sportsman Masters 227 Bay boat that can accommodate up to 4 guests. It runs on a 150 HP Yamaha engine and uses GPS and fishfinder electronics for efficient navigation on the water. The boat features a wireless trolling motor, an ice-box, livewells, freshwater washdown, and even a tower.
Your St. Augustine adventure will take you searching for Redfish, Flounder, Tarpon, Seatrout, Snapper, and Cobia. Surprise catches along the way! You will attract fish by bottom fishing and spinning on light to medium tackle. If you would like to bring kids on your trip, feel free to do so. Keeping your catch, cleaning, and bagging are all included!
All the gear such as tackle, rods, reels, and bait will be taken care of by the captain. You will not need any fishing license as it is included in the price. All you need to bring are any drinks (no bottles) and snacks (no bananas) you would like, and the appropriate sun wear.
Florida Republic Charters donates a percentage of the charter cost to Florida Wildlife Conservation. The crew’s livelihood is on the water, so providing land and sea non-profits with necessities to keep Florida beautiful is what it aims for!
