Discover the azure waters of Islamorada, Florida. When you’ve done enjoying the beach it’s time to do some fishing. Whether you want relaxing family time, or an active fishing adventure,  J&FeXcursions – 26 has a fishing trip for everyone. You’ll be under the guidance of Captain Joseph Aiello who can’t wait to share his love for fishing with you.

You’ll be cruising the area aboard the pathfinder bay boat model from 2018. It is 26’ and it can accommodate up to 4 guests who can enjoy their favorite tunes with the onboard multimedia system. So you can find your trophy more easily, fishfinding equipment is available. The boat is run by the Yamaha F300 engine that can reach top speeds of 50 kn.

The charter covers inshore and nearshore locations that include reef hotspots as well as flats and backcountry areas. You get to go after a variety of fish. Depending on the season you can try your luck with several types of Snapper, speckled trout, snook, tarpon and more !! You can test your skills with techniques like light and heavy tackle, spinning, bottom fishing, and drift fishing among others.

All you need to do is show up, and as for the necessary fishing gear, lures, and bait – all of that will be waiting for you on board. And as for the Florida fishing license, the charter’s got you covered. Families with children are welcome, and the crew offers drinks for your greater enjoyment. If you get lucky you can keep your catch, and the crew will help you with cleaning and bagging.

    Big schools of tarpon migrate through the florida keys annually. We anchor up in the middle of there stomping grounds and send a combination of dead and live baits out.     A 6-hour trip will take us out chasing speckled trout, mangrove snapper, and, if we're lucky, snook! We will run out into the gulf and fish the grass flats with popping corks and other methods (live bait, artificial lures). If the weather is not on our side, we will switch gears and hit some local spots and target barracuda, jack, and mangrove snapper. A great trip for any experience level!

    An 8-hour trip gives us the time to run into the Everglades backcountry. Anglers have the opportunity to try different fishing techniques and see the beautiful unique landscape the Everglades National Park has to offer. We will use artificial baits and live baits depending on the time of year and availability. This is where we will target Snook, Redfish, Speckled Trout, Mangrove Snapper, various species of inshore sharks, and anything else we come across!

I was born and raised in Long Island, New York. I fished the Great South Bay since I was old enough to ride my bike. As a young boy, I worked filleting fish at a local fish market and wholesaler. This put me in the company of fishermen at a young age. I ran my own boat since the age of 15. I was catching Striped Bass, Fluke, Yellowfin, and Bluefin Tuna. I have been vacationing in the Keys each year since I was 11 years old, and each time we came down, I fell in love with the lifestyle and the fishing more and more. I thought the guides who used to take us fishing were the luckiest people on earth. In 2015 I left New York and moved down permanently. I have honed my skills and learned the fishery and the numerous techniques used down here. Come have a memorable day with us and get the same feeling I got all those years ago!
