Destin Gills For Thrills is located in Shalimar and offers to show you a memorable time in these waters. It’s locally owned and operated by Captain Tanner Moll, specializing in offshore bottom fishing. He’s been in the Destin area his whole life, fishing the waters since he was little. The captain would like you to join him aboard so he can share his passion for the water with you.
Capt. Tanner will do his best to make sure you have a fun day full of fishing. This involves 4 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Snapper, Grouper, King Mackerel, Dolphin, Amberjack, and Triggerfish, depending on the season and conditions on the day. On these trips, you can expect to use techniques such as light tackle, heavy tackle, bottom fishing, trolling, big game fishing, and jigging.
Your fishing adventure starts on a 27’ Pro Kat boat that can safely take up to 5 anglers. It’s equipped with outriggers, downriggers, and a Minn Kota i-Pilot trolling motor. The boat also comes with 2 large fish-boxes and a large livewell.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Your trip will include all the necessary fishing licenses for the day. The crew will clean and fillet your catch for you to take home at the end of the trip.
