Come join Artemis Sportfishing and experience some of the best fishing the East Coast has to offer. This amazing crew will help you chase anything, from Red Drum to Marlin. They’ll take the experienced angler to do whatever he/she likes to do or teach a newcomer or child the basics. Captain Seth’s team always works their hardest to put you on the fish and you’ll get to see some great nature along the way.
The Artemis is a 43’ L&H walkaround powered by twin Cummins QSC 600 HP motors, ready to take you to the fishing grounds in short order. She is equipped with Furuno and Garmin electronics, plus all the safety gear and communication equipment required for a more strictly regulated commercial vessel. You will have all top-notch tackle from Avet, Shimano, Penn, and Connley custom rods; from light to heavy tackle.
The offshore spots in the area offer a great variety of fish species, so you can go after different types of Tuna, Marlin, Swordfish, Sailfish, Mahi Mahi, and Amberjack. If you prefer staying closer to the shore, there’s Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, Kingfish, and more.
The crew is based out of Pirates cove Marina in Manteo, NC which has all the amenities to spoil you before, during, and after your trip. With a well-stocked ship store, fish cleaning service, tiki bar, and great restaurant that will cook your catch for you
All equipment and licenses are provided. All you need to bring is appropriate clothing and whatever you want to eat and drink. Artemis Sportfishing will take care of the rest.

6 Hour Trip – Nearshore
Slayed ‘em!
The Artemis, Captain Seth and First Mate Dillon were stellar on our recent charter — helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. And we slayed the fish! Big ones, many of them — we wouldn’t have dared dream of such success. It was absolutely a trip we’ll never forget. The weather and conditions worked out to open up the world, and we responsibly took our share. The men obviously know what they’re doing, to say the least. They made everything as easy and as fun as it could be. When our family is back for our regular OBX visit, we will pray we’re able to spend time on the Artemis with Seth and Dillon.

Nice boat, great trip!
We had a great day fishing with the family, thanks to the captain and first mate! Within minutes of arriving at our destination, they put us on some great catches. The boat was very nice, kept clean, and and well maintained. We enjoyed the trip and came back with a nice variety of catches for the day.

AMAZING
Captain Seth and Allen where the best! I had waited years and years to go ocean fishing and they made my dream a reality!!! I had an experience of a lifetime and highly recommend Captain Seth. We will be seeing him again next year for sure!

Had a great time!
Captain Seth and his mate, did a great job. I was wanting to get my 11 year old into some of my hobbies, and she loved every minute. We were on the fish most of the time we spent out on the water. Would definitely recommend Artemis to others.

Excellent time
While we were just offshore we caught a few small fish but Captain knew we wanted a large fish for the grandson. He headed further offshore and we able to catch a 50 pound Amberjack. All in all an excellent trip and all had a good time
