Amaazen Outdoors – St. Croix Rivers

Float down the Upper St. Croix Rivers, one of MN and/or WI’s most pristine rivers with Amaazen Outdoors.

The "Croix" is run by the National Parks Service. A number of decades ago, the Feds conserved this watershed. Today you can see the benefits of the National Scenic Riverway Act. One of them is the opportunity to pursue large trophy Smallmouth Bass and large Musky in the shallow rocky upper stretches. With the lakes getting packed with weekend warriors, find peace of solace on the river with a chance at a monster musky.

Capt. Brian welcomes you to join him on his 16’ drift boat that accommodates up to 2 guests. As he loves to teach beginners how to fish, you can bring your child along, just make sure to reach out prior to booking and discuss the details.

Smallmouth fishing is on fire right now and Musky isn’t far behind. You can use different types of gear and techniques, such as fly fishing, spinning, and choosing between light and heavy tackle. If you don’t have any preferences, let the captain choose the best option, depending on the situation.

Just bring your fishing licenses - everything else is covered by the captain.

Amaazen Outdoors is open to many different trip options. Capt. Brian tries to be as flexible as possible and he’ll help you put together a trip that meets your needs.

Come float your stress away!

The captain loves showing people new places. He enjoys sharing his experiences with others and teaching people how to be successful at fishing. Most of all, he loves the St. Croix River experience from a drift boat. The fishery is amazing and the river is wild, full of fish and wildlife. The captain's favorite species is Musky, with all the folklore, history, and controversy over it. Wisconsin is ground zero where it all began and the species is even the state fish! However, somedays, the captain would say he prefers Smallmouth.
