I had an incredible experience fishing with “Top Notch Fishing Charters” on Lake Michigan! It’s always a good sign when you need to buy a bigger cooler afterward. From the start, Darren and Sammy were fantastic. Darren put our safety first, especially when the weather conditions made it unsafe for our originally planned trip. He made the tough call to postpone, but we were able to reschedule a couple of days later—and it was absolutely worth the wait!

These guys really know their stuff! They had us reeling in so many fish that my family and I were busy the entire time. The boat was spotless and super comfortable, making it a perfect trip for the whole family. My son (14) and daughter (10) had an absolute blast. Darren and Sammy were amazing with the kids, making sure they were comfortable and enjoying themselves throughout the trip. This was truly a memorable experience for all of us! Can’t wait for our next trip with them! Highly recommend that you find a time to go out with these guys!

For a warm-weather, mid-day trip our expectations were limited, knowing the better fishing tends to be in the mornings and evenings.  But Cap’n Tony and Skipper Lily worked their tails off to put us on fish and we ended up with a great catch and a good variety of fish: king salmon, coho salmon, lake and rainbow trout.  Beautiful, comfortable, and well maintained boat made the trip very enjoyable for our family of six ranging from 8-72.  Owner Darren went out of his way to make sure we were well taken care of.  Thank you Top Notch Sportfishing!

We traveled some distance to get here, and was anxious before starting out. We also had our 4-year old grandchild. So, I wasn’t completely sure about my decision. Well…those feelings changed quickly once we were on ship. The vessel easily accommodated our tiny one. We almost immediately started getting bites too. We ended up with a very nice bunch of salmon. Darren, and crewman took care of everything. I didn’t need to wonder, nor would hesitate taking all. Trip time flew. I’m definitely interested again.

I recently had the pleasure of going on a charter fishing trip with Top Notch, and it was an experience to remember! Captain Tony and First Mate Lance were outstanding, working tirelessly to ensure we had a fantastic haul. They created a friendly and welcoming environment, perfect for celebrating with three generations of my family. We all had an incredible time, thanks to their expertise and dedication. We can’t wait to return for another adventure with Top Notch!

We had such a good time on the 5-10 am trip with the guys, that three of us went back out 1030-330 with our wives. That’s true! My son in law and grand kids were supposed to go but got ill, so we took our wives. It was a beautiful day to be out on the water, and the ladies LOVED it!!! Although we didn’t get much fish action, the little we did get was a thrill for them, and we know we have back up now. It was a memorable afternoon. Lots of smiles and laughs.
