Lake Ontario Fishing Charters
Driftwater Fishing is located on the world-famous Salmon River. We specialize in fishing for salmon and trout in Lake Ontario. Both of our boats the 31 Tiara and the 220 Hewescraft are docked at the Salmon River Lighthouse Marina at the mouth of the salmon river and Lake Ontario. This marina is a picturesque setting and is perfectly positioned on the eastern end of Lake Ontario where all the action takes place.
We are running two different boats to accommodate your group. We offer larger groups the comfort of the 31 Tiara. This boat is capable of carrying up to six anglers plus crew. Its a big heavy boat that excels in comfort, amnesties, and rough water.
As of 2022 we are also offering a different options for the smaller groups at a price that better then chartering the bigger boat. The new boat is a 220 Ocean Pro Hewescraft. Its 25’ in overall length and is a serious fishing machine. This boat is much more efficient on fuel allowing us to go further, faster, and allows us to fish longer. The 220 Ocean pro gives us a huge advantage over the larger boat with the end result putting more fish in the box. It also cost less then running the big boat and this savings is passed on to the anglers.
I always give my groups 100% and do my best to make sure you have a fun safe day full of fishing. This involves 6 to 8-hour trips, mainly fishing for Brown Trout, Rainbow Trout, Lake Trout, and Salmon, depending on the season and conditions on the day.
All rods, reels, and terminal tackle are included in the price so you can focus on what really matters, fishing. Please make sure to buy a valid fishing license ahead of time.
Book your trip now and fish out of the famous Salmon River with Driftwater Fishing.
